Commercial Description:
An American style amber ale which has its roots in a British ale called a "Bitter". However, this Ale is truly an American microbrewery style, with American hops which have a more floral aroma. Also the finish hops in an American style amber ale are more pronounced. (O.G. - 1.050 IBUs-29)

Amber in color with a thick white head. Musty, earthy aroma of malt with a dash of floral hops. Flavor is much the same with a big twang at the end. A good brew.

On tap at Blackstone Brewery in Nashville, TN.
Beautiful red color. Great floral hop aroma. A little more than is usually expected in a "Red Ale." In a city that is generally lacking in acceptable micro brews, this one stands far above the rest. Great restaurant and a great beer!

Rich, malty and reddish amber in coloring with a lovely off white head. Fresh, fruity hop nose, with some flowery honey notes as well. This is a great bitter defenitely made in a British tradition with an American hop twist. Smooth with a balanced mouthfeel and a dry, crisp finish. This one covers all the style bases, a definite home run.

Draft at Blackstone. Red in color with thick white head. Easy to drink, very nutty in flavor. Not a bad amber.

On cask at Blackstone. Poured ruby with a dense tan head. Floral hop nose. Sweet malty taste with a floral finish. Soft mouthfeel. I thought it was great on cask, but didn’t try the draught, which probably wasn’t quite so good.
