No head but great brown lacing. Nose is thin and malty. Taste is strong malts, oatmeal and chocolate. For the style this is very good. However, I really dislike the style hence my lower than average rating. allfreej (375), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

Poured dark brown, medium tan head., ruby highlights. Roasty, spicy nose, hint of floral hops. Flavor is roasty malt, with a nice hop balance leading to a mildly bitter finish. Wonderfully soft mouth feel, typical of cask-conditioned ales. In contrast, the tap version of this porter felt a bit thin. Poperinge (359), Cowtown, Alberta, Canada
