Thanks to Sean (Illinismitty) for giving me this bottle to share at HWOH. Pours a medium brown with amber highlights and a nice head. Aroma is light overall, but consists of nuts, chocolate malt, some butter, caramel. Toffee, caramel, toasted and dark malts, more chocolate, light hops. Nice and easy drinking- dry in the end. Pretty solid Porter overall.

22oz bottle from Sean (illinismitty), Thanks! Best by date of 7/1/06 - consumed 07/20/2006. Pours out a dark brown reddish color with a thick creamy tan head. Smell is chocolate and full of coffee and roasted malts. Taste is thin and sweet. Refreshing, slightly watered down. Full of chocolate and coffee. Very nice, they should bottle this more, perhaps condition it too. Thanks Mr Lugauns

22oz bottle labeled Three Threads Porter best by 07-01-06 and consumed on 7-5-06 via trade with Beer_Hawk! Thanks Steve! - Pours deep brown with a short tan creamy head that laces some. Aromas of lots of chocolate and coffee and some mild roast. Flavor is quite sweet as well. Lots of milk chocolate, a touch of coffee, and a little vanilla and liccorice. Mouthfeel is slick and somewhat watery but about right for a porter. Dry finish. Pretty drinkable porter.

Draft 5 oz sample at the brewpub, 5/14/06: Black with a red edge. Thin head. Very light coffee bitterness. Sweet raisin or mulberry almost comes through. Not viscuous enought to rate real with me, but a good flavorful dark beer.

This beer was tasted as Nashville Brewing Company 3 Thread Porter. Best by 07-01-06. This porter pours a deep brown color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is coff and chocolate, touch of vanilla. Medium bodied porter. Malts are chocolate and coffee, with a touch of fruit. Hops are a touch grapefruity. Nice balance. Smooth and mellow. Nice carbonation. Perhaps it is a touch thin tasting in the mouth for a porter, but an easy drinking beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and chocolate.

(On tap) Dark mahogany with an orangey glow and a creamy, off-white head leaving some laces. Lightly burned malt in the nose. Medium body with hard roasted, coffeeish notes. Dry finish. 300306

Mild char aroma. Coffeeish. Smooth. Dry like a porter should be. Finishes slightly briny with chocolate. In fairness to the beer, my palate was a little unsettled from the excellent artichoke dip and chips.

Nice dark brown pour with a decent gray head. Aroma is chocolate and powdered cocoa. A sweet brownie flavor with a floral counterpoint. Great mouthfeel, not thin as too many porters lean to IMO. A nice mocha like finish without the coffee or roast element. A damn fine porter. Ap-4 ar-7 tas-8 pal-5 ov-18
