Blackwater Detox

Cask (handpump) @ New Oxford, Manchester M4, UK. Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (190108)

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Pale gold with white head. As perfumy as a bar of coal tar soap, this is a bit of a strange one. Thin crisp malt, dry, biscuity, but with this highly scented fruity hop, like an over ripe peach. Didn’t fully warm to it unfortunately.
