Commercial Description:
Blanche De Brooklyn, a traditional Belgian-style white beer, or biere blanche, is named after its striking pale color. Blanche de Brooklyn, formerly a seasonal product, is now available year-round. White beers are made with a traditional dose of coriander seed and Curacao orange peel added during the boil for extra snappy flavor. Brewmaster Garrett Oliver also adds his own secret selection of spices of Blanche de Brooklyn.

Draught at Brewtopia ’04 Thin, disappearing head on a cloudy light yellow beer. The aroma is mildly malted spiced vanilla. Corriander and spice kick in to give this a clean, pleasant aftertaste. Spicy and refreshing.

Murky, pear-colored beer with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is spicy in a traditional wit sense... notes of pear and clove. The flavor is well-balanced, but very light and watery. It mirrors the aroma. Silky mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Short, watery finish. Good for a wibier, but not at all my style.

On draft at N3rd. Attractive pint, big foamy head atop straw colored base. Lots of lemon and coriander: your standard crisp wit beer.

Very smooth and citrusy. Full flavored with spices and citrus notes. Goes down easy. Light and softly colored. Thirst quenching and well balanced.

Poured a hazy yellow color with a small white head that left nice lacing. Aroma of citrus and spicy coriander. Slightly bitter, yeast, and orange peel taste, this was a nice wit.

Art of Beer Fest ’04: Murky, perfect yellowish appearance. Puffy white head, steady carbonation. Soft body, velvety smooth. Great wheat, cereal, white pepper, clove, spice, orange nose. This is a very nice brew. Moderately acidic, spicey. Very flavorful and quite thirst quenching. Yet my buddy pointed out there was a strange fishy flavor from this keg, which was a bit repulsive.

Art of Beer Festival 2004: Has a clouded yellow color with moderate carbonation and white head. Smell is of spice/citrus/yeast/cloves. Taste is of spice/yeast and finishes somewhat dry. Overall a fine Belgian white.
