| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 17, 2004 Cloudy yellow with a very fine particled white head. Aroma is banana and pepper with some coriander. The flavor is much like the aroma but some off sour flavors develop giving the beer a too astringent finish for my tastes. Light watery body. Based on other reviews it looks my sample was not so good. notalush (2682), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 23, 2003 This tastes almost identical to their brooklyner weiss - lots of lemon and coriander in the aroma and flavor - cloudy golden appearance - wheat comes through in the finish - a decent wit. On tap at some overpriced steakhouse in Midtown Manhattan. Nice hazy, vibrant gold. Good banana, citrus and wheat aroma. Solid fruity flavor, somewhat spicey. The orange slice did OK, when I added it for the second half of a 22-oz serving. Sturdy mouthfeel. A very drinkable and refereshing brew.
