Creamy white head. Nice banana yeast nose. Sweet creamy fruitiness. Creamsicle? Bit too sweet for me, but good. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 14, 2006 Tap at WAH. Newly tapped keg poured a cloudy yellow/gold with a billowy, craggy white meringue-like head towereing over the rim in a peak (like the mashed potatoes Devil’s Tower in Close Encounters) and which left spotty lacing (I guess I was lucky, since prior raters’ heads died on impact). Aroma of quick bread batter- lemon walnut or banana walnut- with some spice (coriander, clove) and soapy yeast. Tart lemony banana and coriander flavor, with some yeasty dough. Cream soda palate. Not bad, though I’m not big on Belgian style wits to begin with. Light yeasty spice/coriander aroma. Lightly sweet pale malt, fair bit of yeast, and hints of orange peel. Average palate. Needs more oomph, and more saturation of the flavours. illinismitty (1800), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

I assume its the same beer. Pours hazy yellow orange with a diminishing white head. Typical aroma of witbier yeast esters, wheat malt, and orange zest. I really like the balance of coriander and orange peel, and this has the right amount of sweetness. The texture was a tad thin for my personal tastes, otherwise this could go from good to great. Still very good and well done, especially for an american example of the style ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA

Aroma is spices... orangey and lemony tartness with some wheat notes. Flavor is the same, tart finish. Solid.
