Light wheat notes and spices dominate this beer. Is light acidic and citric. Banana flavours can be sensed. Has a fruity and light spiced yeastiness in the end. Quite nice without beeing a world class beer. joergen (8627), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 16, 2005 (On tap) As indicated by the "Blanche" tag this is a wheat by Belgian standards, therefore very pale in appearance with prominent touches of coriander and orange peel. A seasonal for the hotter months - and only on tap. Fresh and very fruity and a formidable thirstquencher. In a plastic mug at "Brooklyn Pig Fest" this beer may not have the most prominent appearance, but it doesn’t hide the fact, that this is an excellent Belgian Wheat which has beaten Hoegarden Wit in several competitions. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 20, 2004 Hazy looks, decent white head. Very wheaty nose with a big creamy component. Somehow lactic on the tongue, tarter than most anyway. Well balanced witbier with well pronounced orange peel and corianger flavors. Mild spicy bitter finish enhances the drinkability even more. The rather complex aroma makes it a good take on the style by itself. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark

Yeast, hay and straw in the aroma, also some spices. Fresh and somewhat triple-like. Mild hayish and flowery flavor with citrus tones. A nice witbier. waveman352 (178), Walden, New York, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 12, 2004 Although this is not a seasonal summer beer it sure taste like one. I am a huge fan of summer beers and absolutly love this beer. It pours to medium head with a very pale yellow color. Has a fruity lemony citris bite blended very well with spices. A must try if you like light summersih beers.
