yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 27, 2005 Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Golden with white head. Mostly cellar and sour notes to this one. Dry bitterness in the end. (051008) kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia Sep 8, 2005 GBBF: Clear light gold in colour. Mild spice in nose.Sweet honey malts in start, with spicy pepper finish. Medium bodied, and quite tasty. tiggmtl (4178), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 6, 2005 Sweet and spicy aroma with peppery and floral tones. Hazy blonde body with low white head that diminishes to ring. Peppery, citrus, floral flavour has some light spices but seems bland and old. Thin, light body with strong carbonation. Sampled at GBBF 2005. chriso (4420), London, Greater London, England Sep 4, 2005 Draught, at GBBF, August 2005. Starts dry, some lemony notes kick in, then something a bit sugary puts in an appearance. The overall feel is sweet and sour feel. Spicing was very hard to pick up and I didn’t get those orange peel notes often found in Belgian wits. In fact, not a lot of wheaty character either. I have no problems with beers that depart from style, I just didn’t find this one too interesting. Full marks to b-s-f for getting this fairly rare beer in though.
