stoutlover72 (1336), NorCal, California, USA Feb 26, 2007 An odd beer to say the least while looking outside a wet Friday afternoon. The bottle was made of clear glass, so I was expecting some serious skunk going on but that was not the case. Aroma was lemony and orangy at the same time with a bit of tobacco/cigarrette smoke and metal going on. Appearance was hazy, with a watered down lemonade look. Head was small, white with no lacing. Mouthfeel was alive and carbonated with a clean crispness to it. Flavor was more lemons, with a dose of corn added and it finished rather sweet. Overall, this isn’t anything that is going to rock the beer world upside down, but it’s a decent, thirst quenching beer from France. I guess the French CAN make a beer that doesn’t taste like shit. shrubber85 (2591), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Feb 20, 2008 Bottle. Banana, orange, clove, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with moderate head. Banana, clove, and wheat malt flavor. More like a Weizen - nice. armando629 (434), Budapest, Hungary Dec 20, 2007 Updated: Oct 6, 2008Hazy golden color, white&medium head what diminishes quickly. In the nose are some honey what you can feel in the flavour too with a sweet taste. Light&balanced acidity and carbonation in the light&balanced body. Quack-Duck (1906), Bodensee, Germany May 16, 2008 bottle. Cloudy strawy-pale yellow, medium-sized head. Aroma of yeast and lemon.
