Commercial Description:
La « Blancs Mongnîs », est initialement une bière brassée pour le moulin d'Ostiches. Bières de type « Saison » , elle était brassée autrefois dans le Hainaut et le Brabant Wallon pour accompagner les travailleurs sur les champs. Caractérisée par une couleur blonde / ambrée, ce type de bière se devait d'être désaltérante et apporter un peu d'énergie à ceux qui travaillaient au champs. Un houblonnage relativement soutenu, un taux d'alcool de 6,5 %, un goût fruité et une légère acidité caractérisent cette bière.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Hazy orangey brown with a dense off-white head. Ashy aroma. Medium body, some caramel and fruit with an edge of ashes and sulphur. Very bitter finish. An unusual Belgian. 270609

It is hazy, red-brown and it floods heavily out of the bottle. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, light spice and fruit. The flavour has sweetness and notes of malt, yeast, spice, citrus and the finish is dry and slightly sour and bitter.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a small and light tan head. Light caramel malt roasted and yeasty aroma. Fruity, yeasty and spiced flavoured. Caramelish and roasted to light acidic flavoured. Bitter and spiced finish.

Bottle. Hazy amber coloured with a huge off white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, dust and liquorice with otes of yeast. Fruity flavour of caramel, spices, liquorice and yeast. Spicy finish.
