Narnad (682), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Aug 10, 2009 Obtained from Jmerritt. Pours a vibrant yellow, very clear, very high carbonation and a quickly fading white head. Aroma is pretty grainy, very sweet corny note, low hops. Flavor is really sweet, a slight metallic ending and not much else. Not much else there to rate. This brew has not much there to really offend anyone, plain, boring and can be drank by the sixer pretty easily. JMerritt (1313), Macomb, Illinois, USA May 26, 2009 Bought in cans in Duluth, MN on my way to Orr for a fishing trip. Very, very light golden color with a small white head that is mostly diminishing. Sweet corn and barley aroma. Flavor follows, with a bit of metal and wet straw. Clean, watery finish. I drank this side by side with Blatz - they are essentially identical. Jayson2425 (167), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA May 24, 2009 One of the better light beers. Could only find in a small wisconsin town so had to try. Not bad but I like non light better pointer11 (43), Wisconsin, USA Jan 22, 2009 really light colored beer, as to be expected. thin white head that qickly disappeard. there certainly are far worse beers out there though. Not bad for a nice cool down jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA May 13, 2008 For a big light it is OK. Watery as you’d expect from this type of product. But not the lousiest thing I have drank. SavageElvis (134), Savage, Minnesota, USA Nov 2, 2007 The typical light golden color with a little head. Terse in flavor which makes it way too light and boring. There are good light beers out there but this is not one of them. duffman9908 (8), USA does not count Oct 6, 2007 Not quite as good as Blatz original. Watered down Blatz flavor, better than most light beers at similar price level. cheapdark (2011), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 15, 2007 Not a memory rate, I drink as I think. Little sister of my well known friend blatz. Funny name huh? Sweet aroma with possibly a little cream corn, but not much. Possibly strong ale or a little malt liquor like on the smell. Ubiquitous pale yellow american color, what else? Friendly introductory taste. Mannered and well behaved, no offensive bite or bitterness. Not quite as good as Schmidts, old german or Carlesburgh. Much better than city lager or city ice. This is overall a good session brew, very repeatable for at least one session or a couple of yards.
