They still package this swill? Talk about your macro-brewery milking an old brand’s reputation to death, this one should have been retired decades ago. Pours a near water honey hue, with no head. Aroma of soggy corn flakes in water (try it if you are curious) and some barnyard hay. Taste is nearly as clean as water. No aftertaste. C’mon Pabst/SABMiller, it’s time to allow this one to fade into history.

Go for Blatz original. This light beer should not have been made. The unique Blatz taste is almost completely depleted while the aroma is far less appealing. Glad to see Miller Brewing Company is still keeping up their signature quality in beer.

Finally, a real man’s light beer. This is what all light beers should be. My good buddy and fellow ratebeerian jayson2425 brought me some of this back from Wisconsin because he knew I loved blatz heavy and I wasn’t dissapointed by this white trash treasure. Give me this anyday over any light beer by any other brewer. Nice diesel taste without any watered down flavor. Makes me want to go out on my deck in my beater and sing hank williams songs. The only reason I can’t give it a perfect score is because it is a light beer and I don’t believe in that.

From a can. Poured with a pale yellow body and a white head. The aroma had cooked corn and some raw soybeans. The taste was a little bit of sweet potatoes with some hints of nasty honey in the background. Not too bad for a light pale lager.

OH THE JOY! THE AMBROSIA! THE HEAVEN that is Blatz beer, for us tubby people!! YES! I love this stuff. Not as much as regular Blatz, but this allows a man to quaff a quick 20 or so, and still be able to jump into his spiffy spandex jumpsuuit the next day, without tearing it to shreds! Excellent with Slim Jims, 4th of July parties, and fighting with neaighbors, in-laws, and police officers! A must have, if you live in Wisconsin or Michigan!

Not good by anyone’s standards. Thats why they call it Blatz. Golden, typical lager color. This is also typical of Pabst Products. Avoid, especially if you like good beer.
