| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jan 15, 2004 This is another example of watered down, month old beer. I found it amazing how if you leave a bottle of MGD out without a lid for a month, it taste just like Blatz. rabuc (143), carlisle, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jan 7, 2004 this brew is best sampled after you just finished a six pack of some other beer. it's the only way you can tolerate it! some nostalgia here allowed me to score this beer so high! it's one of the first beers i sipped and probably what kept me away from beer for so long! thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Dec 23, 2003 This canned brew poured a medium head of finely sized white colored mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a poor lace and a very thin weak looking straw yellow colored uncarbonated body. The aroma was that of a very mild malt hop and was almost non-existant. The mouthfeel was fizzy, tingly and was otherwise smooth while quickly diminishing in the finish with a mild malt hop aftertaste. The flavor was mild with malt and very mild hops. pjk33 (384), Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 15, 2003 I drank more of this in college watching the Penguins win two Stanley cups than I can even think of remembering. I actually like the taste of Blatz. It is not weak and it is definitely sweetly malted. I haven't had this beer for a long time, but there are definitely beers out there that suck more that Blatz. brewblackhole (1385), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Dec 6, 2003 typical light gold color, sour corn aroma,quick blast of sweet malt adjunct,then nothing,it becomes seltzer. Plus points for being refreshing and not having a vile aftertaste,better than most lights. alcoholica (128), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Nov 17, 2003 I'm not exactly sure you can classify this as a beer, but if you want to you can go ahead. It does have a yellow haze to it, but then again so does my urine. Daddyo (10), Durand, Illinois, USA
| 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Nov 14, 2003 Updated: Nov 20, 2003This is one of the smoothest beers you can buy at any price. Some people mistake this for watered down. Other people are fooled by the old rhymes, Blatz gives you the splatz, or Schlitz gives you the shitz. If you can git it, try it, but you'd better hurry before someone tries to make it taste like Pabst. Also, if your urine has a yellow haze, then your not drinking enough beer.
