I have to say, for a cheap beer, this stuff is smooth. Low in the "buzz" dept. though

the pitz, why even go through the trouble to make this? I wouldn't drink this even if it was free, the only other beer I'd turn down besides IC (Iron City) Light

This truly is America’s finest premium beer! Satisfying customers since 1851!!! Anyone who has ever enjoyed a bottle of beer should drop to his/her/its knees and offer thanks to Val Blatz, the man who first put beer into a bottle!

This beer sustained me through collage, so it will always have a special place in my heart and I will still have this at occations when friend show up - like this Saturday for the Aloma Bowl - Good Luck Bucky!. Light straw color with a tall white head. Sweet floral/corn aroma. Light malt and lots of corn flavors. Light flavor hops that are quite good if you look for them. As the ad used to say "America’s great true light beer". Ah memories. There really are some malt flavors.

A tasty beer. It doesn’t taste all that great. But it tastes like something, though. It tastes like beer, damnit, good ole ’merican beer. Better than most cheapo lagers and some premiums too. It might be yellow and fizzy but at least it’s memorable.

Great old line american beer crisp clean refreshing.Slightly bitter on the pallet sometimes but not quite as bitter as a pabst or a goebel.
