Not a beer to sip at dinner, but perhaps one of the best beers to buy for a party. Skyview (4076), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

I’m from Milwaukee and I ought to know. Blatz Beer tastes flat, wherever you go. Watery and crisp like, less filling and clear. Blatz WAS Milwaukee’s historical beer. :-p All joking aside, today’s Blatz beer is a generic American light beer whose making money on very distant past reputation. Pours a near crystal clear color with no head. No aroma. Tastes like liquid corn flakes with some sweet aftertaste. An excellent college party beer at best. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Not much I can say. It is an historical brew that had a past. They need to figure out what that past was to bring the glory back....pretty bland and sweet. averyblund (19), Michigan, USA
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Mar 5, 2007 Not good, very flavorless and with a hint of corn. Not the worst cheap beer but not the best either. When it comes to the bottom of the barrel brews its decent, but won’t replace Grain Belt as my cheap of coice. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Feb 5, 2007 Pale golden with a weak head and a thin flavor which is sweet and corny. How much do I really need to say about this Miller-interpreation of a 1970’s mainstay? How about one word: "Avoid".

Pours a pale golden yellow with a thick frothy flourescent white head. Vegetable broth aroma. Flavor is very corn grainy with a medium palate that does not seem as harsh as many of this ilk. Can’t get over the boiled vegetable flavors however. This is likely the only beer name that captures the sound one makes when you’ve had too any of these. Mrthirstyneck (341), Minnesota, USA

12 oz bottle
Medium pour in a shot glass
Recent brewing, splatzed 12/06
Poured a clear light yellow with an average fizzy quickly diminishing head.
Smelt of moderate cooked corn and metal.
Taste was upfront moderate sweet cooked corn and stale grain followed by crap. Palate was light bodied, watery to dry, fizzy, and grossly metallic.
Overall, it’s cheap and the name is funny. If you think these are good points, then you are an underage easily susceptible underage drinker or a dimwit who shouldn’t be reading this, not only by their ability to read, by by their lack of tastebuds.
