Cloudy golden with a large white head. Sweet fruity aroma with coriander and baking yeast. Flavour was fruity and very dry with baking yeast and coriander notes. Dry finish.

Bottle, 10%. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is a bit sweet, has a hint of metal. Slight vegetable note, but almost clean.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, fruit, alcohol, and malt, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly cloudy golden with a thick off-white head. Yeasty and fruity nose. Medium body, dry fruitiness, a little yeast. Dry and somewhat hoppy finish. Surprisingly dry for a 10% Belgian, not that alcoholic either. 211009

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with lots of flakes. Disturbing metalflavor instead of hops, a flaw. Typical van Eecke brew.

Pours a beautiful orange with a large frothy head and lots of floaters. Strong confident sweet-fruity tripel aroma, plenty of oranges, candied fruit. Full mouthfeel with oranges, sugar, a bit of alcohol (but not too noticeable, especially considering it’s 10%) and slightly spicy. Excellent Belgian strong ale full of aroma and flavour. That establishment is lucky to have such a solid housebeer.

33cl, from De Bierloods Adegem, complex brew, not balanced, clear, rocky head, good brew, yet heavy, probably the same brew as Het Kapittel Abt

Fluffy, just off-white head over metallic-clear, pale copper beer. Alcohol, leafy, white candi usgar, sugar-preserved citrus slices. Wet dog flavour, faint cigar smoke, caramel and again very present alcohol, nearly liqueurish. But a bit raw, obviously pointing at white candi sugar; faint orangepeel in the finish. Alcoholburn, very slick, near like an oilfilm; medium to well-bodied, not more. Not overly refined, like a deliberately sugared-up high-alcohol version of Kapittel Prior.
