Jun 9, 2009 Batch #1. Pours with a cloudy yellow body topped by a medium thick to thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and full of coriander and ginger with a nice bitterness. Light to medium bodied, tingly and dry.

May 24, 2009 Sampler at the Toronado SD. Pours with a a hazed pale yellow body and a small white head. Aroma of oak, hay, dough, lemon peel, apricot and spices. Taste is sweet with a nice grainy profile, dry fruits and light wood tannins. Somewhat of a witbier spice presence. Lively carbonation and a dry mouthfeel.

May 10, 2009 A very pleasant Belgian ale. Fairly light in color, but a very full complex flavor profile. Interesting spicy aroma with the assumed Belgian yeasty notes in the beer.

May 3, 2009 Poured into one of the Blind Lady’s special .5l glasses.
Deep golden body with a tan haze. Foamy white head sits around forever.
Smells of coriander covered in coriander with a side of coriander.
Taste is spicy, a little biscuit, and then the coriander comes in a dominates, just when you think you are going to be sick from the coriander, the ginger comes in and settles your stomach.
It’s not a delicate Belgian Single, the flavors are big and bold, making me wish it was a little more subdued, but I dont think thats what they were aiming for with this beer.
If you like your belgian pales to have a ton of spice and lighter on the citrus, this one will work.

Apr 27, 2009 On tap @ Blind Lady. Pours a mostly clear Glowing yellow with a fluffy white head. Nose was big on coriander and ginger. Flavor was also big on coriander and ginger. This seemed more like coriander with beer added to me, could have done with a sample and not a pint.

Apr 19, 2009 Light yellow with a fluffy white. Citrus and corriander aroma and taste with a good bready taste and a very crisp finish. A damn good witbier.

Apr 11, 2009 On tap at Blind Lady. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Sweet and spicy aroma, of citrus and coriander. Taste starts sweet then gets more spicy, with citrus, malt, yeast, and a lot of ginger at the end. Lingering spice. Very nice.
