Not much of an off-white head. Aroma of biscuit malt and hazelnuts. Taste is nicely sweet and nutty, good full flavor with a lighter drinkable palate. Some nice lingering roastiness in the finish. Nice amber. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 30, 2006 This would be antoher one that you could drink alot, as a nice session beer. A lighter styled amber, with some lively fruit aromas, that lends itself to a really proper carbonation level, malt background is a little lighter than I would prefer, but still has some nice flavors, honey and caramel, with a bit of floral hoppiness. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 28, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. The body was dark amber with a mostly white head. The aroma was soapy with some hints of oranges and toffee. The taste was caramel with some peanuts and hops. A decent amber, but typically boring. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 22, 2005 The tap poured a clear, medium brown beverage with a small frothy off-white head that was mostly diminishing but left fair lacing on the glass. The aroma had a nice light roasted malt presence with very light raspberry notes in the background. It had a medium body with soft carbonation and a dry texture. The flavor started of lightly sweet and as it matured on the palate it took on a slight bitterness. The finish was average in length, slightly bitter and had a light alcohol warmth. A ring of off white head around the outter edge, but little to no carbonation. Aroma of malts and some fruits that were rather meek. Not a whole lot going on, but what was going on was nice a nd plesent. The flavor, much like th aroma was a little weak, but what there was was good. A dry texture and some good, yet mild flavors.
