May 4, 2009 Sample at the 2009 Parkville Microbrew Fest. Pour is a very cloudy yellow golden with a smallish white head. Aroma of big bubblegum, also quite sweet. Fruit strip gum, more or less. Behind the bright yeast is some decent wheat malt graininess, though it certainly in the far back seat. Taste is more of the bubble gum sweetness, along with some banana fruit and the wheat. Palate was medium to light, smooth and pretty drinkable. Overall, the over the top Hefe yeastiness of this was a bit too much for me, tone that down and there would be a pretty nice beer here.
