The nose had a nice coffee and chocolate tone with some toasty esters. The flavor was a bit different with some twangy fruits like plum and apple next to the mocha and coffee. The feel is lively and refreshing with a watery porter body. Nicely quaffable. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Strong coffee roast over chocolate malt in the aroma. The flavor has a sweet coffee essence alongside musky old coffee. The flavor is dissapointing, it’s too dry and could stand nice residuals. I had previously called this one of their best and worthy of its awards, but now I can’t understand why. My original comments above are accurate, this is definitely like iced coffee. But the palate is *very* thin here. Not much actual real beer or porter flavor. In a blind tasting between this and an actual glass of iced coffee, I may not be able to pick this out. Mildly smokey coffee aroma has a subtle touch of roasted malt and sweet dark chocolate. Body has a fairly full sweetness and good slightly drier coffee notes, but could use a little more sweetness. Very smooth and drinkable. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma and flavor of chocolate-covered espresso beans and light hoppy notes. Nice medium-full body that is not over the top to violate the style and push this to a stout. A very solid, enjoyable coffee porter.
