Commercial Description:
Free-Style ale. Origianlly brewed in honor of our first big brew at Block 15. We used 7 diffeent malts and three different hops. Also, dry hopped. Some describe as an ESB on steroids, or an old ale with a NW hop bite. We describe it as a damn good beer

KLCC microbrew festival. amber pour with a hefty bit of toffee in both aroma and flavor. A little too dry and earthy for me, the palate rubs me completely wrong for whatever reason. Subpar by all possible ways to look at it.

KLCC Microbrewfest ’09: Nice amber pour with a fruity, malty, and toffee aroma. Flavor is a little more earthy than expected; still some fruity, toffee, and citrus elements in the background. Even a touch bready. Finishes with some citrus hops.

On tap at the brewery. Deep amber color with a smooth off-white head. Soft caramel up front, fruity and smooth with a crisp citrus hop finish. Good depth of malts and a nice balance to it, siding towards the hops.

On tap at Block-15 in Corvallis, OR--Hazy copper-amber-sienna body with a creamy off-white head. Malty spicy nose. Rich sweet creamy malty but with a bit of straight-ahead tart alpha hops.

Taster - Block 15 Brewery - Corvallis, OR
Aroma – Good Malt and a very interesting hops nose. Tons of different smells.
Appearance – Amber in color, Thin head and clear.
Flavor – Bitter in flavor and the malts balanced nicely with this beer., Huge hops influence in this bittering.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry bitter finish.
Overall – What in interesting beer a super hyped up bitter and it had some great flavors. A must try.
