Sweet nose of coriander and clove with a sweetness that reminds me of peanut butter. Dark plum and caramel notes up front. Pretty strong bitter finish with more of that peanut butter that I picked up earlier, odd... Decent brew, but the bitterness was a bit to strong for me on this kind of a brew. boFNjackson (1318), Portland, Oregon, USA

Poured deep, brownish/amber with an off-white head. Aroma of brown sugars and maybe cloves. Light palate with a bit of a sizzle on the tongue. Standard dark Belgian style with clove and raisin-like characters. Smoked malts the left a coffee-like finish.
