Block 15 beers are all under-rated on here - we need to get more ratings in. This was unlike any other beer I have ever had - there must have been a lot of bourbon left in those barrels! Bourbon taste was just a bit too much for me to give it a perfect score, but otherwise a delicious brew.

On tap at Bailey’s in Portland, which is a pretty cool place. This was probably my favorite beer of my whole NW trip. Dark amber in color with a khaki colored head. Aroma of caramel, cocoa, wood and bourbon. Flavor was similar. A bit boozy, but I didn’t mind it too much. some nice cooca in there as well. Very nice stuff here.

On tap at Baileys. I’ve enjoyed all the beers I’ve had from Block 15 so far, but this was the best yet. Dark brown pour with a tall khaki head. Big bourbon notes, lots of sweet vanilla, and sweet chocolate. I had heard this was pretty boozy, but the alcohol wasn’t as hot as I was expecting. Lingering bourbon long into the finish.

Tap @ Bailey’s Taproom... Poured a cloudy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of Irish cream and whisky. Dry palate and went down really easy. Reminded me a lot of an Irish Car Bomb. Flavors -- despite it’s light appearance -- tasted darker. An amazing outcome from the barrel aging. Sweet, liquor and lactose notes with a subtle alcohol character. Finished with a sweet coffee liquor note.
