Block 15 Gateway Wheat

Not a big fan of Hefes. I did do a sampler tasting of this beer. Nice blonde color with a small white head. Aroma is hefe spices and a touch of hops. Taste is classic Hefe with the entire profile jacked up about 15 %. Recommend you give this a try if you are in Corvallis and you like wheat beers. Pretty true to the style.

Taster - Block 15 Brewery - Corvallis, OR
Aroma – Good wheat malt. Light hops in the aroma.
Appearance – Golden in color, Thin head and hazy.
Flavor – This was a good American style wheat beer. The malts and hops balanced well and there was alight citrus from the hops. Some cloying and banana esters.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A very interesting beer the style was hard to pin point but the wheat was fresh and the beer was very tasty.
