Bit hazy (darkgolden to) amber color, big white head. Aroma malts, caramel, bit spice at the end. Medium body.
Taste is very special, sweet, flowers ?, little spices, bit bitter at the finish.
Not bad. Ungstrup (15430), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2007 Bottled. A dark golden beer with a slight haze under a huge orange-yellow head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of malt, yeast, and spices. The flavor is lovely sweet - not too much - not too little, with strong notes of malt, yeast, caramel, flowers, and spices - among them coriander and cinnnamon. The alcohol tickles the tongue slightly in the aftertaste. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 31, 2007 33cl bottle: poured into two glasses, one of which is slightly cloudy and the other is very cloudy from the yeast of which some still remains in the bottle. Big white head which subsides into a rocky, meringue like whiteness. Yeasty aroma with some peppery notes. Cloying sweetness like saccharin. Belgian yeast notes of course but that sweetness really detracts for me. Fin (3485), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

This could have been a very good beer but was just a bit too sweet. Scauca (415), Lovere, Italy

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 21, 2007 Bottle. Brown with a big foam. Aromas are brown sugar with floral and spicy notes. Flavours are sweet sticky caramel malts with spices. Syrupy and sweet - too sweet for me. LordCorkscrew (984), Ronco Scrivia (GE), Italy
