Strong, earthy countryside aroma of alcohol, pea soup, cow dung and flowers. Sweet-sugary-syrupy, malty flavor with toffee hints. Medium-bodied, syrupy, low-carbonated palate. Another brew spoiled with excess sugariness, and also too much alcohol in the nose. Smoother with yeast, but still too sugary. pivo (2537), Germany
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Doughy nose, caramelly. Hazy copper-gold color with a foamy sticky head. Very sweet - sugar sweet. Slightly spiced. Heavy body, oils mouthfeel. Too sweet and one sided, but overall interesting. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 30, 2005 Nice dark orange color, small fizzy head. Intense buttercup nose - some alcohol too. Sweet oh yeah - it is like sugar water with a bit banana, some oranges and that’s it. Too sweet for my liking. dornoy (681), Lyngby, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 19, 2005 Original bottling to say the least. White head on a dark yellow body. It was presented as a sweetish beer, and so it was! Too sweet to my taste, really, even as dessert beer. I guess it would be good for a hot siummer day, but I can’t think of any meal it would fit with. Anyway, drinkable but not among my favourites. Dorqui (1361), Brescia, Italy
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 7, 2005 Great looks. Yellow dark color, light amber and hazy. Much loads and elegant. Dense and friable foam, very lively. Determined and warm scent. Notes of caramel, hay, grass and malt on the end. Elevated alcoholic perception, much powerful and solid. Light smoothly with an increasing bitter in the end. Keeper (164), Milano, Italy

Great looks: clear orange/amber, beige frothy almost creamy lasting head, very nice lace. Aroma of sweet citrus, honey and light spices. Inmense sweet but not sugary sweet or annoying. More like honey or fruit. Perfume, flowers. Thick and little syrupy mouthfeel. This really is a beer for the sweettooths among us. Bart (1664), Brussels, Belgium
