Commercial Description:
Amber Ale brewed with Wild Maine Blueberries.
An amber ale brewed with all natural ingredients, including real wild blueberries and wild blueberry juice from the State of Maine this beer has a light crisp body and subtle wild blueberry aroma and taste, but is not sweet like many fruit beers. These characteristics have made the beer popular with all age groups, especially young adults and make the beer a popular part of many beer cocktails and mixed beer drinks. For instance, many people enjoy the beer as a part of a “Black and Blue;” an alternative to a “Black and Tan".

Dark brown tint to a golden body. An intense blueberry smell that reminds you of a pint of blueberries....very fragrant. Medium-bodied with very little carbonation and a very strong blueberry taste. If you are looking for blueberries, you bought the right beer!

Orange color, with zero head and almost no carbination. Smells like blueberry pie. Tastes more or less like blueberries. Gets bitter quick, but so can blueberries. An interesting beer, worth a try every now and then.

Just a dang wonderful beer! The comments about Blueberry muffins are generally right on the mark. This isn’t a beer for beer snobs, but for folks who want a beer flavored with fruit, it’s excellent. If you want fruit flavored with beer, try Leinenkugels instead. Definitely one my top 5 beers.

holy shitcakes batman!!! the aroma and flavor are not much more than a bunch of blueberries.....not that i have anything against that as i love the blueberries...but come on! i detect just a mild hint of malts in the aftertaste...other than that, a beer for people who want somethign sweet.

Good blueberry aroma and flavor. A lightly hopped amber ale, slightly hazy, clean, with blueberry flavors. Easy to drink. Good for fruit beer.

Immediately after opening the bottle I smelled blueberry pie. Lots of blueberries in the nose, crisp body of (you guessed it) blueberries.

An average beer with a great blueberry taste. The fresh Maine blueberries would be better accented with a more distinct and less carbonated pale ale, yet Blu Creek is one of the better fruit beers I have tried. Re-rate: Tried alongside Sweetwater Blue and found this to have much more character and flavor.
