12oz bottle acquired in trade with CaptainCougar (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. As soon as I popped the cap off this one, I could smell blueberries. Aromas of blueberries, a little yeasty/crustiness, and Welch’s Grape Juice. Tastes of blueberries and grains.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Dec 29, 2007 Aroma is definitely blueberry. Color is ripe apricot tinged amber. Not much head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. It’s not sweet. It is malty in taste. The finish is essentially blueberry skin. An ok drink, but not a typical ale experience. Something of an ersatz chocolate aspect is present. It’s growing on me as time passes. thegreenrooster (1842), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 27, 2007 Pour is a amber with a small white head. Aroma is of fresh blueberry juice and some powered sugar. Flavor is some blueberry with a mix of some bitter chocolate. Nothing overpowers though and the blueberrys could come out more in the flavor. Another fruit beer that smells better than it tastes. Strykzone (1486), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 7, 2007 Light brown color with no head at all. Very pleasant blueberry aroma. Flavor features blueberry but is very earthy and spicy. Like most fruit beers, the addition of berries sounded much better than it tasted. Disappointing. krysztofar (344), belleville, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 10, 2007 12oz bottle. this a solid looking amber colored ale that tops off with a thin tan head. plenty of blueberry on the nose, along with some soft grain and grassy hops. kinda smells like fruity pebbles. smooth palate with characteristics found in other amber ales. the middle hits with lots of blueberry fruity tartness, but tastes chocolatey as well. sort of like chocolate covered blueberries. not bad for what it is. jbuzz (661), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Nose of Blueberries raises my expectations for a sweet fruit beer with almost soda-like qualities. I am confronted rather with an dry ale with the mild taste of blueberries. Not much more to say here. I can’t say I am pleased, nor can I say totally disappointed. Interesting berry flavor which is pretty unique. I guess I would recommend this beer for people to try as somewhat of a novelty. jarlbartar (88), Janesville, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 27, 2007 Poured a rich amber with minimal head and no retention. Strong aroma of bluberries. Taste of blueberries and blueberries. Aftertaste of blueberries. The blueberry taste wasnt overpowering, but that’s pretty much all you could taste.
