Pours a dark caramel amber brew with a thck and creamy off-white head that slowly dissolves and sticks around for a while. Nice lacing on glass side. Aroma of rich and sweet blueberries with a touch of wheat and some multi-grain. Kind of reminds of me of that Booberry breakfast cereal from General Mills. Taste is light to medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a crisp watery blueberry and herbal flavor. Finish is slightly gritty, thin/watery with a tart blueberry aftertaste. Nice try for a fruit beer but the Huckleberry brews in Northern Idaho still has the front seat. tig397 (64), dearborn heights, Michigan, USA

| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jan 30, 2007 From 12 oz. twist off bottle with no freshness date.
Poured a hazy golden hued amber with a small bubbly, sudsy head that settled quickly into a fine bubbly lacing.
Weak aromas of blueberry juice loaded down with sugar and cereal malts.
Moderate carbonation and a barely crisp, watery medium bodied mouthfeel.
Bland, boring, watery taste, artificial-like blueberry juice with a weird additive-like aftertaste, subtle grainy, cereal maltiness, a little white sugar, and a watery cereal malt with an equally watery blueberry.
In some ways this reminded me of a cheap kiddies breakfast cereal, I won’t be trying this again.

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 12, 2007 The SweeTart candy version of blueberries (which I already don’t care for) made it difficult for me to convince myself to bring this beer to my lips. But I did. Wish I didn’t. Atop a bland malty taste is a slightly bitter, artificial berry flavor that coated my mouth with a plastic sweetness and generated a quiet churning in my belly. There’s an industrial bitter/sweet taste to the finish. Nice hazy amber body with a slender off-white head, by the way.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jan 5, 2007 Bottle... Hazy light amber ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head and floaties galore. Blueberries, black tea and a subtle note of beef stock in the aroma. Well-balanced, but thin with moderate tanginess. Light-bodied and dry with lively carbonation. Crisp finish. tomxcs (315), Golden, Colorado, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2007 Thin, somewhat artificial smelling (like a Betty Crocker Blueberry muffin) and just generally lacking. It’s not horrible but it certainly could be done better. At least it wasn’t overly sweet and syrupy -- it was drinkable, unlike many other cheap-ass artificial fruit beers I’ve had before. Disappointing. Not much else to say about this one. Ofortuna (322), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 11, 2006 My brother got this for me to try and I should’ve known something was up when it said it was popular especially for, "young adults and a popular part of many beer cocktails"...........uh, wtf!?!?! At least they’re opening acknowledging that they target that 18 to 20 year old segment and that they beer must be so bad that it must be used as a mixer............<sigh> not off to a good start here. Poured a copper color with a quickly disapating head. No lacing. Hmm, I’m actaully intrigued by the hint of blueberry, but I highly doubt its all "real wild blueberries". Well, at least its pleasant at this point. Flavor is slight citrus and...well, blueberry with a bit of malt in for good measure. Slight tartness here and a bit more bitter than this should be. Finish ends up revealing the artifical nature of the fruit by the malt character fading too fast. Good idea, but very obvious they wanted to cut corners. I mean, their target demographic can’t shell out the money for high-end beer you know. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA

Blueberry dominates the aroma. The flavor is very similar, with a medium body. Some smooth malts also added to the flavor. Sweet, but also balanced... so it didn’t get cloying. Seemed a little overcarbonated, but surprisingly wasn’t bad overall.
