Pours a light bronze with a thin white head. Nose is dominated by a mildly tart blueberry presence. Flavor is thin, almost soda-like. Definitely fruity and tart like fruit pop only somewhat drier. Way better than I thought actually. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA

Taste was not at all beerlike. Strange grape soda taste, thin watery, blueberry and grassiness. ew. walleye (882), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2004 Aroma is intense, incredible, overpowering. What’s in that nose? Blueberries, of course, and nothing else, but it’s a very pleasant, tasty flavor. Color is a dark amber, head is small.
Carbonation feels a bit high, and very little malt is detected, with an insignificant amount of hops. A very slight ale, with enormous flavoring. Does it taste like drinking a blueberry muffin? No, but it smells that way.
Quick finish. I appreciate it for the novelty, but I can’t see myself returning to it with any degree of sincerity.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Sep 10, 2004 huge blueberry notes, and little else in the way of aroma. its appearence was weak. very weak. weak like if it was ever to tend elementary school it have its glass get broken by the end of the first day just for looking funny. tast was better, not as blueberry as expected, but tasty. overall not a bad brew, just something to show off to non brew enthusiasts (most of them dont really appreciate anything bigger then this:expedition stout etc.) but this one tends to their taste buds. obisbeer (558), Barcelona, Spain

Deep amber brown, with thick, short white head, very clear. Sweet bluberry aroma, with slight malt and faint hops. Medium wieight with a lingering finish. Flavors of blueberry though a bit of a watery feel, and a slight sour quality on the end. Not bad though I don’t think I’ll be having another, bit too watery or enough hops quality to balance it. badgerben (3610), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 11, 2004 Slightly dark amber color with a short lived head. The aroma of blueberries is very nice along with some malt, however the blueberries seem to vanish in the taste. Maybe some sour blueberry remains to taint the malt, but that’s it. Not worth getting again. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 2, 2004 Golden Coloring. Small Head. Blueberry Taste Is Good But Seems a Bit Artificial. Very Easy To Drink. Not a Bad Beer if You’re Going to Slam a Few. But Not Very Distinctive. Bit Watery.
