Sweet but not sugery it could have been a little heavier but I truly think its great for summer. I recomend it to people who hate bitter after tastes. This has a really good one.

The comments about Blueberry muffins are generally right on the mark. This isn’t a beer for beer snobs, but for folks who want a beer flavored with fruit, it’s excellent. If you want fruit flavored with beer, try Leinenkugels instead. Definitely one my top 5 beers. beermania99 (9), USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 5, 2002 I think I like this beer as the fact that it is not sweet like any other fruit beer. Wild Maine blueberry is another plus fo this beer. Since they use real fruit in it (not many beers have this), handling in appropriate temperature is very important. Don’t put it in warm or direct sun places, otherwise, you won’t get the real smooth and crisp aroma and taste. Ale Boy99 (19), Twin Lake, Michigan, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 12, 2002 Heavy Blueberry aroma, a hint of blueberry flavor (not sugary sweet), I actually enjoyed this fruit ale! beermad (5), USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 19/20 | Jul 9, 2002 I really enjoy a good fruit beer now and again, and felt this was one of the better I have had. The blueberry aroma is fairly evident, but the subtle blueberry taste (evident but not overwhelming) makes this a very drinkable and refreshing fruit beer. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 30, 2008 I loved this blueberry ale. It has a very low rating, i don’t know why. Personally i thought that blu creek did an amazing job at a bluberry flavored amber. The aroma is extremely desirable. and the flavor is uniquely frothy and not overly sweet. This is an ultimate session beer. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA

I can’t explain the presence of a sweet, doughy flavor and aroma, but it’s there. Not quite as world-class as Marin Bluebeery Ale, but close. Semi-sweet and well-flavored. Job well done.
