Herbal up front, ginseng is definately evident, light body, with a grassy, hay, herb finish. Herbal tea like. Not terrible, but nothing spectacular here. But, I can dig a infused craft made beer. Double Bastard with viagra infusion? I still dont get the whole speedball market. Why drink beer/alcohol if you want energy? Whats this world coming to? | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2004 over all a pretty good beer, average but drinkable. fairly watery flavor and mouthfeel. some subtle hops. I could really taste the Ginko Balboa in this one balanced by the ginsana bitterness. Go pick up a six for yourself at GNC kujo9 (1077), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Aug 6, 2004 Light amber w/ a short lived, white head of mixed size bubbles. Lightly malty w/ hints of diacetyl. Lightly fruity, maybe it’s the herbs, but the fruitiness seems a little blue berrieish? Hints of caramel, but thats about it! Also a slight metallic aroma when it warms. Well balanced, but slightly lactic in sourness, a little tart. Toasty malt barely there. Finish is tart & dry; Aftertaste is fairly clean. Lighter body, acidic m/f (biting), and medium carbonation. Save the herbs for Sobe and start making some real beer!!!!! deprogram (112), Renton, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2004 12 oz. bottle Let's start by saying that I'm being lenient on this because it has ginseng in it! Serious clouds of sediment in a light, amber liquid, head almost noexistant to begin with, and rapidly vanishing. Smells quite unique, strong citrus with pine-needle sweetness. Flavor is quite sour, unfortunately, and the exotic ingredients really are noticeable - the guarana is strong enough to have immediate effect, but as ginseng drinks go, it's really quite an accomplishment. Not that I'm going to rate it any higher as a result. I'd get this for the boost, not the flavor. igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 8, 2004 Slightly hazy golden beer with little head. Herbous almost lemon (like lemon cough drops) aroma. Very tart but limited malts or hops. The lemony taste is very present but not overpowering. Lacks body (but that may be better for such a tart beer). Not bad, but not a repeat. PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 4, 2004 Reminds me of an herbal tea. Light golden appearance, light, soft head. Spicy aroma with an accompanying tart, fruity flavor. Quite surprised and impressed. Aurelius (2652), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Mar 4, 2004 While this wasn't particularly good, it was at least interesting. A faint pale malt aroma. Twistoff cap, plain healthfood store type label, light golden brew. Faint citrus, grassy, green nutty quality. Very lightly sweet, needs more fizz. Clear, flattish finish. There's a reason that hops are used instead of Ginko Biloba.
