On tap at Blue Canoe and from growler. Pours a reddish brown with a bit of a head that dies to a film of bubbles. Aromas are of an earthy/woody malt and a little bit of a malt or red wine vinegar... but they are pretty subdued. Flavors are kind of similar... it’s like there is a couple of good starts at it, but it ends a little off. The sourness is very mild and fairly pleasant, but it plays against an earthy/nutty maltiness that doesn’t quite mix with it very well. It’s almost like malt vinegar with chestnuts and oak... and it comes across as a little disjointed. That said, I’d drink it again...
