Blue Cat Cocoa Porter

had this awhile back when I was waiting to get a growler filled with the Bowfish Imperial Stout. poured a very dark brown with a tan head. aroma was of bittersweet chocolate. flavor was chocolate and coffee but had a fizzy bitter finish. not Blue Cats best effort.

I was told that this was a twist on the regular porter. I was supposed to have achocolate character. The body was dark brown with a khaki head. The aroma was chocolate and good coffee. The taste had roasted coffee with unsalted peanut shells. The finish was slightly bitter chocolate. A decent porter.
