Aroma is lightly of floral and citrus hops with a faint spicey element. Taste is on a par with the aroma, with a nice carbonated bite and a well-balanced bitterness that is followed by a sweet finish. This a nice beer. yespr (12024), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Bomber. Pours a slightly cloudy apricot orange with a firm white head that lingers. Aroma is a little vague, of wheat and just a little light fruit. Hoppiness comes through as I sniff on. Wow, flavor is a lot nicer and more complex than expected: It’s very much a pale ale, but undeniably smoky - smoky like an old ale, believe it or not. Hops and fruit are fully present, not just apparent. This should really be classified as a pale ale in my opinion, and not just because the bottle described it as one. If not, it’s the best blonde ale I’ve had to date, and easily. I dig it a lot. A pleasant surprise. Overall, good to very good. Thanks Frog. marcus (1853), Sacramento, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 14, 2008 Updated: Jan 9, 20099/13/08 From 22oz bottle. Aroma is light bready sweetness with a citrusy, piney hop balance. Appearance is clear gold with a well maintained white head. Flavor is less sweet and more bready, with an earthy, somewhat noble medium bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, somewhat creamy, with a medium carb finish and somewhat starchy finish. Overall, I wish this stayed as sweet as it smelled, it’s not harsh by any means, but just somehow not easy drinking.

Flavor is citrusy, sweet, full flavored with a light earthy bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy, with low carb texture. Overall, very good and not thin like many Blonds.
