| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 14, 2007 New arrival in North Liberty, IA at Johncy’s. Deep gold body with a slightly off white head. The aroma has some light peaches with some good caramel. There is also a little bit of corn flakes, but in a good way. The taste has some light notes of toast and almonds. There is a little bit of grainy corn meal in the finish. A little bland in the taste, but at least the body is silky smooth. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 16, 2007 22 oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color. Head was white and reduced over a a minute or so to a thin film. Aroma was of grassy hops, a touch of caramel, and minimal honey-touched cereal grain. Dry on the tongue with harsh grassy hops up front that impart a moderate hop bitterness. This eventually gives way to a decent, but short-lived cereal grain aftertaste. So so at best.
