Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a hazed golden body and a small, white head. Aroma of Styrofoam, vanilla, citrus, and grass. Taste is cirtrus, and wheat. Fizzy mouthfeel, light body and dryish.

Bomber from BevMo, MV. My bottle is 5% ABV. Slightly hazy golden in color. Sweet grainy aroma, with a lot of yeastiness. Some pear notes. Flavor is somewhat grainy with a good bit of yeast and spices. Fairly refreshing.

Bottle from Bevmo in La Jolla: My nose detects a minor scent of German spiced yeast with only hints of banana and clove but then again the aroma of the beer smells similar to an American macro. Created a fizzy short lived head and a firm golden color with a little bit of glowing power. Flavors are a bit more promising and reveal a taste of banana, bubblegum and hint of clove, although, still falling short of what should be expected from a true German hefeweizen.

Banana and vanilla aroma. Hazy blond color with no head. Banana and vanilla taste with a soft carbonation. Watery palate and the resin feel is off although the carbonation is soft. Better at their Brewpub.

22oz bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours a light-medium yellow, completely hazed with a fizzy white head. Nose of yeast, bread, banana and citrus. Flavor was yeasty and citrusy with a light spice. The finish was very crisp and refreshing. One of the better brews I’ve encountered from Blue Frog.

10/18/08 On draught at the brewpub, Fairfield, Ca. Aroma is citrusy and witlike, with moderate hop flora. Appearance is hazy straw with a low white head. Flavor is light, sweet and yeasty with almost no bittering and slightly acidic sourness. Mouthfeel is moderate bodied with a low carb texture. Overall, a nice yeast character but not that complex.

22oz bottle. Poured a medium and hazy yellow color with an averaged sized head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, citrus and wheat. Tastes of wheat (a lot stronger than the aromas), lighter bananas, and spices. The tastes was also bready.
