Some hop bite fades quickly into shiny grain or cardboard notes.
Medium lean body too weak for style, and so is new, green and watery hop bitterness.

May 23, 2009 Tap at the brewery. The bartender told me this recipe will replace the Big DIPA. Clear, golden color. Thin head that fades but doesn’t disappear. Extremenly faint nose; almost nonexistent. Earthy fresh hop taste, a flash of flowers, and some good bitterness but not as much as I expected. This beer is almost backward tasting: The hop bitterness actually fades into a cereal grain flavor on the palate. I like the fresh hop character but this beer lacks body and seems incomplete.

May 16, 2009 105 IBU. Draft. Amber color with a beige head. Lots of citrus. Lots of biting citrus hop over malt. Very bitter. Extremely good.
