Just like Timfoolery it smelled a little like vinyl. The hops were bitter that left a bad taste in my mouth. Not one of your better IPA’s. timfoolery (484), California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 27, 2008 Copper amber color with a decent head. Aroma is very floral, piney, earthy, and herbal. Hops come through up front and are nice and earthy with a good amount of pine. A little malty sweetness makes an appearance too. Nice bitter finish, but I thought there was a touch of astringency in here that made it a little hard to palate at times. hayduke (1658), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2008 From a 22 oz bottle this poured a hazy orange with a moderate white head and light lacing. Nose of citrus hops and caramel malts. Medium mouthfeel Flavors are heavy on the hops and light on the malts. Finish is slightly bitter. Very drinkable IPA. illidurit (891), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Mar 20, 2008 Poured into a pint glass. Honey-colored, a little light for an IPA. Head is pretty modest at a half inch, despite a vigorous pour. Leaves some thin lacing.
Smells like melting plastic. No hoppiness, a hint of maltiness. Not good.
As far as flavor, this beer doesn’t taste bad, but it doesn’t taste like an IPA either. Closer to a pale ale, with a toasty maltiness that overrides the weak hoppiness. The plastic from the aroma is nearly gone in flavor but there’s a little bit there.
Mouthfeel is fairly good, with appropriate carbonation and body. A little high on alcohol and there’s not enough flavor to justify it. Not impressed at all. boussh (2), Saint Helena, California, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2008 They must ahave reworked thier recipe, cause this beer is much better than previously revied. classsic cascade aroma, and nice malt/ hop bitterness finish. i would order this gain
