| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Auburn red in color with a small white head. Aroma of toasty caramel malt and a little bit of Pacific Northwest Hops. Nice caramel malt flavors. Not too sweet though. A little toasty malt too. Finish is mildly hoppy. Probably more crisp than anything. A nice amber ale. Probably the best thing I have had from this brewery. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Bottle. Aroma of malt and citrus. How good is that! Reddish amber color. No noticeable head. Flavor of malt, hint of strawberry, bit of wet paper, hops are present, but the malt rules. It really drinks well. DYCSoccer17 (2195), Davis, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2006 5 ounce sample tasted at the Fair Oaks Brewfest. Musty, yeasty, sweet, candy sugar aroma. A touch of ethanol is also present. Seems way off for the style. Not the best aroma. May be due to the plastic cup, though. Amber body with a small off-white head. Very malty, somewhat sweet flavor, which finishes with lots of peaty flavors. Drinkable and tasty. This is kind of like a lighter-colored baby scotch ale. Tasty. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA
