Commercial Description:
This monstrous version of our IPA has been overloaded with everything from the malt to the hops, even the tunes we rocked out to during the brew day were huge. this bottle conditioned Double IPA is abound with aromas of citrus hops, English toffee, and fresh baked biscuits. Carmel notes, hoppy lovin’ and slight yeastie notes jump off your tongue.
Enjoy this bottle conditioned beer in a large snifter slightly warmer than normal with the one who keeps you warm at night.
82 IBUs

Apricot cloudy color. Bitter and sour but the alcohol is really right up front in the flavor in aroma--too much so for my taste.

Cloudy orange color, big white head. Grass and hops in aroma. hops and alcohol in flavor. lacks body which you wouldn’t expect from the appearance. Not very happy with this beer and definitely not worth the price.

Kind of a mess. Cloudy orange with a frothy off-white head. Grassy, piney hops, oats, cereal, and grapefruit in the nose. Caramel and citrusy hops are prevalent, but there is also a lot of soap and a metallic bitterness. Finish is earthy and wheaty. Not worth the price.

I picked this up at The Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA... Appears a hazy orange toned amber with a small, off-white head that quickly fades out. Streaky spots of lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of herbal, earthy, citrus, and bitter grapefruit. Taste is of the mentioned aromas with nothing more coming through other than some herbal hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slick, oily, hoppy, earthy, and bitter in the swallow.

22oz bottle shared courtesy of weeare138 - special thanks to Tom for verifying with the Brew Pub that they bottle beer (inside joke there). Poured a medium amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, tropical fruits, and caramel. Tastes of caramel, pine, citrus, and tropical fruits.

Poured a hazy amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, tropical fruits, and toffee malts. Taste of citrus fruits, pine, toffee malts, grass, and a bit of tartness as well. Though a full, bottle conditioned mouthfeel.

Thanks to weeare138 for sharing this one. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a medium bubbly off white head. Aroma of caramel, some light citrus, tea, toffee, floral and a sweet maltiness. Flavor of a malty sweet mix, some earthiness, caramel and hints of citrus.

750 ml. bottle- color of translucent copper , with a wonderful off white head - nose of mint , malts , hops , slight resin , cookie , and slight alcohol , and – taste of malts , hops , slight resin , lime zest , and slight alcohol - body is medium , semi sweet , and with high carbonation – aftertaste of malty , raw hops , and citrus- good beer but not sure if it is worth $8
