Bottled (thanks tbone_!). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is harsh rice, some metal and skunkyness. Flavour is metallic, toffeeish (diacetyl), rice and oh well some sourness. Oh man oh man.

Can, Bangkok

Deep gold colour; malty-grainy aroma with hints of caramel and alcohol. Similar palate, alcohol taste emerging more in the finish. Bland, but drinkable.

Golden color, not much head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of corn and skunky hops. As most of the ice beers - mostly tasteless. Alcohol brings mostly fruity harsh flavors, a bit sugary finish. Bottle sampled in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Produced by S. Miguel Thailand, at least my can... Gushing (!) to huge, very dense white head, leaving lace over golden beer. Surprisingly, very outspoken fruity aroma’s, if quite volatile: (canned) pineapple, peaches. Definitely something funky-fruity, suggesting sourness - too strange for words... Blue Ice??? Solvent flavour, wood extract, again pineapple (ester). It’s got something wine-like, like in old, oxydized wines, NOT oxydized malts or beer. But of course pretty pale, near insipid, certainly as long as ice-cold. Light, near watery, just that strange back-flavour hanging around in the palate. After some time, traces of alcoholwarming. CAN it be true? DID I find the first international mega-lager that really got infected? Whatever, I’d give my left hand, what the exact component is that I perceive - it’s the one that lends aroma to old gueuze, but also old burgundy wine. Jeez.

Organic, raw malt off aroma wet cloth, not to often you will find such repulsive beer aroma. Pale gold, small fizzy head, low subdued carbonation. Thin bodied, light, sweet. Not much at the finish.

My story begins in a similar fashion to "aceofhearts" below: picked this one up in a 7-11 in Taiwan! As an aside, there are more 7-11s in Taiwan than anywhere on Earth! I could stand on a street corner and point to three different 7-11s on many occasions. Anyway, you know from the get-go that this is going to suck. And it does. Pale watery flavourless canned "lager". But fun to try!

Bottled. From a 7-Eleven in Hong Kong.
Golden lager with a fizzy white head. Says its brewed with sugar on the tin....that’s pretty rough. Ajunct city.
