12 oz. bottle from World Market in Charlottesville. Pours a lemon yellow with a huge rocky head. Very grassy aroma. Same with the taste with some bitter hops and light graininess. Medium body.

Light yellow, like any Pilsner. Kind of light in taste, and then realized that it is only 3.9 ABV. The six pack I got could be bad, it foamed up on me 2 bottles of 3 thus far. I found it on sale at a World Market in my travels for 3.99 a six, I like rayofbeer, won’t buy anymore.

Poured from the bottle a very light yellow with thin white head and little carbonation. The aroma is grassy hay, over-done toast and wet cardboard. Flavor comes in with a big bitter bite of gratefruit peel, lemon grass, light touch of malt, and some astringent soapiness finishing in a lingering unsavory bitterness. Overall, drinking this beer without food, I found it too bitter/astrigent and lacking a good carbonation crispness. With food maybe the bitterness would balance out. It was on sale at Cost Plus for 3.99/6-pack, I will not be buying more however.

grass and brassy hops in the smell ... good white fluffed head on the pour, leaves a very nice lacing pattern, high class ... has an extremely pleasing and wonderfully biting bitter hop bite, everything you want in a pilsner!! ... is somewhat cloudy, with lower than usual bubbles .. I really enjoyed this beer!!!

Light malty and citrus haylike aromas. Golden yellow color, slightly cloudy. Slight bitter haylike flavor wit a lemon accents. Bitterish duration. Light and dry with a slight bite and soapiness on the finish.

Golden coloured body with a hazy white colour and a thinnish white head - nice looking for the style though. Aroma of fresh malt, hops and alcohol - very little else. Light-bodied; Sharp alcoholic flavour and honey dominate the flavour with some fresh grassy hops also. Aftertaste shows a lot of hops, some alcohol and a little sweetness - not bad at all. Overall, an actually decent hoppy pils - definitely worth trying! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from World Market in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 24-August-2008.

Bottle. Pours slightly cloudy yellow-gold with a small white head. Aroma is hay and some of the odd yeastiness that seems common in some brewpub beers, along with hops. Flavor is the same, with a bit of biscuit, dry with a bit of astringency, and quite hoppy for a pilsener. Not terrible, but not particularly good either.

bottle, straw colored with some foam, very light dry citrus nose, flavor starts off ok but is too bitter on the finish and too thin
