grass and brassy hops in the smell ... good white fluffed head on the pour, leaves a very nice lacing pattern, high class ... has an extremely pleasing and wonderfully biting bitter hop bite, everything you want in a pilsner!! ... is somewhat cloudy, with lower than usual bubbles .. I really enjoyed this beer!!!

A nice malty aroma. Very thin color. Very dry and with a big crispness to it. Pretty good, but quite dry. Solid brewery.

Odd but not off-putting appearance. Kind of looks like diluted pee. Aroma is nice and a bit bready with some raspberry. The flavor is quite good with hints of yeast and a nice hoppy body. The finish is nice and not as soury sticky as some pilsners. Overall a very nice beer. I will drink again.

(12oz bottle, thanks Peregrinari) Hazy straw body topped by small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, berry, bread, light honey. Taste is medium sweet, straw/grassy, some bread. Decent hoppiness. Light-medium body, some resin. Solid organic beer.

Bottle. Pours a nice golden cheddar with lively head of white. Aroma is lemony biscuit, with hints of red wine. Flavor is lemon biscuit as well, with hints of rose and grapefruit. Nice mouthfeel. A pleasant surprise; not sorry to have bought a sixer of this one.

12oz bottle: Vibrant yellow pour with a initially frothy head that settles down quickly. Some lacing left behind. The nose is really pleasant on this pilsner - a nice mix of grainy pilsner malt and clover honey. Sweet, but balanced by a soft punch of grassy hops. A smallish buttery/diacetyl note lingers in the background, but it builds on the creaminess of the malts and adds a tempting complexity. Some of the same clean, well managed malts make it into the body, but unfortunately it becomes watery and displays a bit of DMS as well. Even with the slight flaws, this has the right balance of creamy malt and grassy bitterness to help it rise above the bulk of average pilsners out there.

Golden coloured body with a hazy white colour and a thinnish white head - nice looking for the style though. Aroma of fresh malt, hops and alcohol - very little else. Light-bodied; Sharp alcoholic flavour and honey dominate the flavour with some fresh grassy hops also. Aftertaste shows a lot of hops, some alcohol and a little sweetness - not bad at all. Overall, an actually decent hoppy pils - definitely worth trying! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from World Market in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 24-August-2008.

Bottle. The body was medum gold with a white head. The aroma was hay and dirt, very earthy. There was also a little bit of dandelion. The taste was fairly bitter and somewhat soapy. There was bread crust in the long lasting finish.
