4/29/2008: Blue Marble Organic Pilsner is a transparent, very pale yellow color. It has a creamy off-white head that leaves good lacing on the glass. It has a moderate level of carbonation. The mildy sweet aroma has a slight buttery tinge to it. The flavor consists of a light doughy maltiness combines with a crisp grassy hoppiness in the finish. The bitterness level is light to mild at best. This beer is light on the palate and overall pretty undistictive.

Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Poured a hazy, pale yellow with even carbonation. OK head with some lacing. Has a malty aroma. Flavor was lacking: some bitterness,slight fruitiness that finished with odd end notes. Not worth buying again.

Oct 4, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured a pale, peachy color with a foamy opal head. Aroma was somewhat malty, with some fruit. Flavor was unpleasant and watery, a slight maltiness that ended with an ashtray flavor. No good.

Sep 29, 2008 12oz. bottle poured into a typical pint glass. Pours a light yellow with little head. Looks like a typical pilsner, smells like a typical pilsner and even tastes like a typical pilsner. Nothing really standing out on this one except maybe a little more hoppiness.

Sep 24, 2008 12 oz. bottle from World Market in Charlottesville. Pours a lemon yellow with a huge rocky head. Very grassy aroma. Same with the taste with some bitter hops and light graininess. Medium body.

Sep 21, 2008 Light yellow, like any Pilsner. Kind of light in taste, and then realized that it is only 3.9 ABV. The six pack I got could be bad, it foamed up on me 2 bottles of 3 thus far. I found it on sale at a World Market in my travels for 3.99 a six, I like rayofbeer, won’t buy anymore.
