Commercial Description:
Blue Marlin has been swimming in our market since 1990. Released as a strong beer with a 6% alcohol content, Blue Marlin was rapidly caught and became a very familiar brand to Mauritians and consumers overseas.

Thick lasting snow white head, clear orange body. Surprisingly heavy flavor, rather sweet malty and bready with some flower hoppy hints. Dominating hoppy flavor with a sweet sugary edge and some metallic notes. No way near as bad as feared. Thanks Mads for this new country!

Canned (thanks brunnsbe!). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, hops and some rice. Flavour is malts, slight rubber, hops and maize. Refreshing and quite nice.

Bottle. Golden and clear with a gentle maltiness. A bit thin but still quite pleasant.I am surprised that others haven’t though much of this one as I was quite impressed.

Clear pale gold body with a fairly poor head. Aroma was initially the alcohol , then some corn then malt. Taste came across ok, to me I mainly got the corn again with hints of hops but not much.

Bottle at Chris_O bottlefest 2007. Gold with thin white head. It’s a lager. Some decent hop on end, bit metallic.

ChrisFest Surprisingly darker and more flavoursome than is normally the case for a pale lager. A drinkable and decent enough beer.
