Not really a favorite, but I use this as my go to beer when first walking into somewhere new. It’s very common to an orange slice to the glass since the beer is brewed with orange peels. Not as orange flavored as the commercial Shock Top. It’s kind of hit or miss with some people since many are opposed to fruity tasting beers...... Don’t be fooled though, it’s not some girly hard orangejuice. It’s beer

i was stuck in the dallas/fort worth airport, where i sampled this on tap at a T.G.I.F. pours cloudy yellow, no herad, tiny white bubbles. i was slightly amused when the bartender served it with a slice of orange. it smelled of orange, but then i threw the slice away. i smelled some wheatiness, and possibly orange (don’t know how much orange was residual from the slice). flavoe has a bit of spicey-sour hint, with banana tones. a bit effervescent on the tongue. not bad, but i am not wheat fan.

I like how bartenders put an orange in it. I love beer flavored oranges! Anyways, orange colored but not as appealing as I’d like. Weak on flavors of obviously orange, and small amount of hops. No bitterness unfortunately.

One of the better commercial beers out there. Orange colored Wit Bier, with a strong body, although I hate how bartenders automatically throw an orange in the beer now!

On tap at TGIFriday’s in Torrance, CA. Cloudy golden orange beer with a small white head. Malty citrus aroma. Flavor is malt sweetness with a bit of yeast. The beer has a bite which is different, but pleasant. Finish is very slight bitterness with some sweet. Very good summer beer.

on Tap at Dubliner Pub in Omaha, NE. Cloudy yellow color, poor foamy, probably because the weitress and she put some orange on the glass. Te aroma is citrus, with some notes of lemmon and orange, flavor is quite bitter. Mouthfeel is citrus.

White ale, whatever that means, it sounds like watered down pale ale which is not a good thing. The flavor is light with light malts and tastes like defrosted lager of the bad vriety. The only thing this white ale has going for it is the dreamy label on the bottle but as a beer it falls short and I can’t imagine adding orange to it. At the end, you really can’t expect a decent brew from Coors who make sparkling yellow water and call it beer. They are no different when it comes to their ales.

Not bad considering its lineage. Just different enough from the regular suspects to stand out.
