It smells a bit like oranges and a bit like caramel and a lot like vomit. It is cloudy orange. Some mild bitterness, orange, bread and gastric acid forms the flavour of this questionable brew. This is... not good. Blech. Oh, and the finish is dry.

Note to self: Never go from Pliny the Elder to Blue Moon.

I have had this many times from the bottle and on tap. For what it is, this is a pretty decent American version of a wit.

Very murky appearance with tons of yeast floating about. Real nice bronze/honey color. Very little head. Smells of citrus and lightly of the yeast. Really light flavor with hints of citrus. Tons of carbonation, good thirst quencher, though it still goes down pretty smooth.

I warn: I am not writing this review while sipping on Blue Moon; it is from memory from many times past. Blue Moon is, in some ways, the perfect entry into "craft beer." It is easy to drink, well-suited for a slice of orange, and goes down with little bitterness. Problem is, as a "Belgian White" style beer, it is relatively bland and uninteresting. No discernible spice to it, little complexity. Just a hot-day sipper. Which is not entirely bad.

I enjoyed it. I thought the beer poured well into the glass. It took a couple to convince me that I liked the tase. I hated the lable.

I really think this tastes worse than budweiser. Even with the orange slice, it comes off as watered-down, an d is not at all refreshing. I shall not be wasting money on this again.

Probably the best of the big 3 beers I have had. Head is a foamy white and when poured into a Weizen glass the appearance is absolutely amazing, with slight goldish/hazy yellow coloring throughout. I have had this beer on tap, which is delicious, and from the bottle, which is also very good, but not quite as good as on tap. It is almost always served with an orange, which I detest, but is simple enough to have them bring it out naked. Taste is a thick bready/light citrus that goes smoothly down the gullet.
