Blue Moon Belgian White Ale

I like the witbier! This is similar to New Belgium’s Mothership Wit, which is my favorite beer.

(Bottled) I had this one in a diner and it was served near freezing temperature and the glass was frozen, too. The colour is pale orange and beer is cloudy. There was fruitiness and some coriander in the aroma after the beer had warmed a bit. It’s quite light bodied and carbonation in very high. Beer tastes of coriander and there is fruitiness, sweetness and light bitterness in flavour as well. Very short and lightly fruity aftertaste.

Blue Moon is pretty good, but the fact that Coors makes it knocks down the prestige a bit. Check it out, but don’t try to impress anyone with it.

Great on tap. Nice aroma and taste, though just a little bland. turned off by the murky orange color but otherwise a nice beer to have with dinner.

Pours clouded golden orange. with a white head. Aroma is oranges and bread(yeast) Flavor is light yeast, with some orange and citrus High carbonation. still an all around drinking beer. This one of the "craft" beers that got me into beer rating.

Tap. Cloudy golden white color with frothy head and orange slice on the rim of the glass (was removed and eaten before drank). Aroma of orange, spice, maybe some bread. Flavor of coriander, orange, and wheat with another citrus note in background. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Palatable but bland.

Pours cloudy golden white. Very overrated beer that was great when I was younger. Creamy frothy head. The aroma is piny, citrus, wheat. Has a funny color and alot of carb the citrus peel taste is weird and hurts the beer.

12 oz. bottle. Cloudy pale golden colour with a mostly lasting creamy and frothy off-white head. Pleasant coriander and spicy citrus aroma. Lightly bready malts with a muted spicy coriander finish. Light bodied, very refreshing. Hmmm, found this much better than Rickard’s White which is supposed to be the same thing. I’ll chalk it up to circumstance in this case.
